I was recently in Oslo for a long weekend with my parents and it has simply made me want to see the rest of Norway SO BAD. I’d seen some photos on Instagram before (Lofoten – so much wanderlust oh my), but after being in Oslo I followed quite a few accounts and WOW. Simply WOW.

    Those photos are gorgeous! In Scandinavia I have only been to Copenhagen, but I would love to spend some time in Norway, especially in the countryside!

    Wow, these are amazing. They compel me to go to Norway but it is so expensive. I will have to figure out how to do it frugally because these images are incredible. Thanks for putting this together.

    Norway is SO beautiful. I went last year on a 12 day trip from Bergen up through the fjords to Tromso (stopping at Alesund and Trondheim) and then to Oslo. I share your dream of going to Svalbard!

      Seeing the Northern Lights is incredible – I saw them in Iceland but I’d love to see them in northern Norway!

    I think I don’t need any inspiration for visiting Norway – It’s already high on my list for the northern lights. Thanks though – these IG pics (Esp those of the lights) simply make me wanna go NOW! 🙂

      Norway was on my bucket list for years! It’s still there – I’ve only visited Oslo so far and I so want to see so much more! I’m glad you enjoyed the article and hopefully you get to go soon!

    I have not been to Norway. I really want to go to Norway! I was just doing research on hiking Pulpit Rock, definitely something to add to the bucket list!

    This is a great post – sometimes I like them just short and sweet with EYE CANDY. I will definitely be checking out these accounts – and yours 🙂
    I visited Norway for the first time last year and was awestruck by Alesund!! Such a beautiful country. The Sidetracked Blog has some excellent photos and posts of Norway also.

    Norway looks incredible! Do you think it’s a good destination during the summer as well? I’d love to see the Northern Lights but I do not handle the cold well – at all.
